Damn! At least Im not alone on this one. Thats exactly how I feel. Dont you hate the "I wonder if..." Or "What if...."

 

Yeah, i really thought i was gonna feel that way about the EVO (which i did drive and enjoy), or maybe the fact that i didn't get a blue SRT-4 (which i could have if i didn't think i needed the sunroof i never use). But i really only wish i had looked closer at the 8.

 

good job on your purchase. now you have the best of both worlds. enjoy and don't listen to negative comments.

 

These two cars are hard to compare at all. That is why I love both of them. Both cars are quick in there own way. I get the rush driving the rx-8 in turns (especially on interstate ramps). The rx-8 accelerates thru and handles turns better than any car i've driven. I could write you a book contrasting these two cars but basically the same feeling we get flooring the srt-4 on a straighaway, is the same feeling I get in the rx-8 in turns.
If you ask me a specific question comparing the two I will be glad to answer it. But the feelings I get driving both cars is hard to explain.
The gas mileage is terrible on the rx-8. [:'(]
1 tank in the rx-8=280 miles, 14 gallons= +/- $30 (Premium)
The srt-4 so far is getting tremedous gas mileage. I have filled it up twice and spent $37. Im loving it.
