Symptoms: Key won't unlock/lock the doors. When I turned the key in the ignition, got lights, air, etc, but the engine made no sound.*
Fix (need 2 people): Unhook the negative cable from your battery (black), then have the other person turn the key in the ignition at the same time as you reconnect the cable to your battery. This resets the security computer and all is well. You will need to reset the clock on your radio.
I did exactly what ghis said with the tow truck driver and my car is back to how it was!!! Whoever posted this was an angel so I just wanted to say thank u for all these posts to everyone!!!
