While we investigate VINs (first info in the second VIN one APPEARS to indicate an R/T, not an SRT, but I still have some checking to do) go ahead and post the pics.
Damn, this is fun

Here's what I get.
4d504057..
this is an SRT vehicle. It was built 09-17-03, sold 10-02-03 sold at Elder Chrysler Jeep dealership in Athens. The car is Red (not blue). I can't look up the owner specifically, but I can tell you that this is a completely normal car. The chances of it being blue and having s2 are slim to none.
------------------------
4d500004
The reason this car shows up as an 04 R/T is because it is an 04 R/T. The real vin is 1B3ES76F24D500004. It's yellow in color (again, not blue), has a sunroof, was built 05-28-03 and sold 07-01-03. Now, this car was ordered through the chrysler pre-volume. As in, it was a company car ordered by some manager in the company. The vin number suggests that it was a pilot car in the first place, but I can't verify that. Again, I can't look up the owner specifically, but the chances of it being blue and having s2 again are pretty rare."
So, how about either some contradiction of the above facts, or those photos?

Close but no cigar, glhs837. The red srt-4 went else were to be sold, and its not a normal car, at least anymore.
Now on to the second one, the VIN i entered was the correct VIN it is not a r/t and it has a 08/03 build date and it is blue. Now i have to medatate. Come on....future net detectives are watching.......

Here's the thing, Andy. I provided the info on the vehicles. My source matched the info on the R/T. anyone wishing to verify, please go here.
http://www.dodge.com/webselfservice/...m%28%27R%27%29
Enter the last 8 digits of the second VIN. Since serial numbers DO NOT repeat between Neons lines, the car was made as an R/T. To dispute this, please provide a photo of that VIN.
Unless you wish provide actual facts, such as a bill of sale from elswhere for the red car, or photos of how it differes from stock, feel free to back down

So what does that photo prove? I cannot see any proof of where that vehicle was sold. If anyone else can, feel free to point it out. Just because you have the sticker in Texas means nothing. My car was sold to me in FL., but I have it in MD. I can prove these things. I have photos. Of the car
And papers I can scan
Of course the Stage 2 photos of the blue car from this morning would help your cause. Before we get bogged down or distracted.

ok here is another well know famous photo of my car. Think the only mods at the time were hood CAI mod, Mopar BOV, and can't remember if i had the stage 1 on at that time. Since it was a dealer trade/or deal car, meaning my dealer did a trade for two 3500'03 cummins ram quad duallies for the '04 srt-4, which the guy in athens did not want, or rather his son changed his mind and wanted a viper instaed, which i would do. It had 95 miles when i took delivery of it on 10-05-03, because it was the only '04 red srt-4 with sunroof in five states for sale. And i have been told it was the 17th 2004 srt-4 off the line in Belvidere,IL and the first 2004 flame red clear coat car made for general sale to the public. And athens is full of rednecks so a 3500 cummins would sell faster than a srt-4, which would still be there for sale today.
Enough on mine, the second VIN is the important one, thats the stage 2 blue one, and yes i did the mopar recall serch and it told me the same, invalid VIN, wonder if they list prototypes, which i think this car is.

They do not repeat serial numbers, even for prototypes. So there is only one PL chassis with serial number 500004. Putting the prefixes for an SRT is what makes it invalid. A photo of that vin would be cool. We've seen the stock photo of your car. Does not prove a thing. I'm still watching both hands Andy
