seen stage 2 wit toys on the street today.
Well guess this guy can say he got it first.. While waiting on the ferry to cross the bay today, i was out of my car walking around on the ferry, when an electric blue '04 srt-4 grabed my eye. He was parked on the other side from me so i never seen it till now. Always wanting to see what everyone else is doing with theres i checked it out, He had his drivers window down about half way and i noticed what looked like turbo toys between his rear defogger switch and cig lighter or power outlet to be political correct. Yep thats what it was. So i waited around till the guy showed up. Well he did and right away asked me if my name was Andy. I was a little taken back, i said yes. The next question, you in your car? And i told him i was, it was parked on the other side in the middle row about half way. To keep the story going all kinds of pics are posted of me at the other forums, long story i want get into. But i asked him if he did have the stage 2, he answered yes he did and would show it to me if i showed him my car. So i said ok. By this time the ferry was almost at the landing for bolivar penninsula, i told him to pull over to the park and wait. Well we crawled over each others cars like kids in a candy store, occasionally stoping and asking how did you get this to work. ALong with the stage 2 wit toys he had a custom made pressure pipe, HKS BOV, Perrin large intercooler. ebach 1.5 inch lowering springs, K&N CAI, Three inch exhaust, down pipe. Turbo controller/ timer. And a Apexi fuel management system. Well we took his car out first. The road in front of us was empty when the ferry let its cars off, the other lane was backed up for two miles or more. And to keep the heat off we drove out till it was just us. I must say i was real impressed with the stage 2. It actualy broke traction at 60mph and laid down some marks! From a dead stop judging by my butt meter the car was easly into the mid 12's and probaly hit sixty in around 4 1/2 to 5 seconds. Like most it had some massive burn outs. And we finshed out with a short ride in my srt-4, he told me more than once to slow down!lol. Well had to share this, someone has the stage 2 and is driving it and he lives in orange, tx. Who else has it?
Hmmmm, according to Dodgelady19 (Amanda), Stage 2 Turbo Toys haven't been released yet...and I don't live that far from Orange Texas, and I haven't heard a peep from anybody who has them....strange...[sm=smiley6.gif]
That's a neat trick, considering Woodhouse Dodge has Mopars promise that they get the first 20 kits sold. As sold at the nationals in New Orleans. I'll be willing to be that you can in no way verify this. Could you maybe provide some knowledge of the S2 kit we do not know from the Mopar site? Describing the panel is not good enough. Maybe you could tell me more about the lights for the functions? Or maybe the PCM itself? Note I have doubted you, but not called you any names or said anything bad about you, but this kind of thing does call for verification.
Some how i new this was comeing. His PCM was black with white Mopar lettering with stage 2 written across it. As far as the lights? It was broad daylight haven't a clue there. The intercooler sprayer works off the windshield wiper resivor, which i thought was odd. It has a two way valve a seprate pump or it runs together, don't no.that directs water to the intercooler or windshield, can't use em together. The instructuions called for distilled water? Yep what it said, or the use of a glycol washer fluid if below freezing. The WGA was a nice piece, chromed nicely , sim to MPx's WGA. The injectors were black with white strips, i found this funny because all the pics show them as being black with blue o-rings that you cannot see when the rail is on. everything was nice and clean, far as the upgrades. The TIP sensor was another odd color, his was red, most u have seen were black. But i'm sure there will be plenty of running line changes. Dustyloins the orange, tx i'm talking about is on the line with louisanna, pretty far from san antonio i think. I remember the guys name being Dan, can't recall the last name. The stage 2 is nice, but would be a step back for me, i was just wanting to see if they were all that, and i can say yes, if things were diffrent i would order one for myself, and i do not no how he got his, even i thought/read that they weren't out till may, maybe he owns a dealer, who knows.
Yeah, I knew about the distilled water thing. Orange Tx ain't THAT far from San Antonio when ya got a girlfriend there..know what I mean? (And she hasn't heard anything about the Stage 2 "Toys" either) Sometimes the "Big 3" send out "test cars" to see what the they'll do on the street. I drove them for years at South West Research here in San Antonio. We tested gasolines, oils, tires, A/C systems, lights, etc. The high point of the day was taking the vehicles out to the 8 mile General Tire Test Track in Uvalde, Texas about 75 miles west of here. Full bore all the way!!
BTW, did you make it to the meet in Feb in Louisiana to back up your claims on your E.T.? Haven't seen any posts on this since early in the year....just wondering how your car was holding up.

Facts I have not seen elswhere
1. Injector colors
2. Chrome WGA, folks that rode in the PVO S2 car said it looked stock.
3. Lettering on the PCM has not been discussed. Did you see an extra socket? If so, where on the PCM was it?
I'm working on verifying these things. Sorry andy, but you have a rep to live down. And I'm a Regan Era throwback. Trust, but verify

Andy, what does it say in the top right hand corner of this picture?

Yup, KIT# 001. I haven't received mine yet, and according to the engineers at SRT, the only Stage 2 that's in ANY car is the one that Ethan had at the SRT Nationals. I really hate to have to come here and call you on your bluff, but someone has to do it. Oh, and there is a reason that I have kit #001, and NO ONE will get Stage 2 before I do. I can promise you that.
