Hey guys! I'm in the market for a stock, nice condition 2004 or 2005 SRT-4. I've seen quite a range of prices and modifications done and not sure what's a good deal and what isn't.

I had an `03 four years ago, but sold it because a friend sold me his `03 Mach1 for such a good price I couldn't turn it down. Well, I want another SRT-4 and am shooting for an `04 or `05 primarily for the LSD.

I don't want one with a bunch of modifications because I'd be concerned about how much it had been abused. I usually find that the closer a car is to stock, the less abused its existence has been.

I don't mind higher miles, providing the car was well maintained. Where's a good place to look for such a car? I haven't had any luck with the local craigslist.

Any suggestions?

I would try public auctions, local want ads in the paper, auto trader, ask a few friends if they have heard of anything, i tried all of these, then I was down to asking friends, my buddy ended up selling me an 04 electric blue srt with 79k on the odometer, he also showed me the title that was three years old and even then only had 74k on the car, and I paid 4800$. Point is deals are out there and lots of times it's the people you know, or the people that your friends know that can get you the best deals...best of luck
