a friend of mine has a Stage 2 mopar upgrade on his srt-4 with custom exhaust and some ******* in a mustang was on our *** for a long time so my friend waved him to pass us and he did then he waited by the onramp to the highway revvin up so we went to run him he took us on the highway from like a 40 roll, he slowly walked on us to bout 2-3 carlinks 3 times then afterwards we pulled over to talk to him and he said all he had was exhaust....BULL****.... if thats all he had we should of whooped him so i dunno i just hate when people lie bout their mods especially after they win thats just stupid

 

What he meant was that's all he had on the outside of the motor.

well honestly, i don't know if he's lying. the 4.6's do mid to low 14's stock (i've seen everything listed from a 14.8-14.1). mustangs really wake up with a good exhaust system, so figure low 14's, even possibly a high 13 with a good driver. a s2 srt with pump gas on street tires is only good for about a 13.5. and on top of that add to the fact that the stage ecu's hate running from a roll, they perform much worse that way. so i could see it happening under the right conditions. if you really wanted to run him it would have been better to go from a stop, or even low in 2nd. the stage ecu's perform much better that way. not really sure why these ecu's are like that, but if you run from a stop compared to a roll, you can feel a noticable difference in power. from a stop you should beat him.
