motor mounts
well from what i understand.... and its not alot i assure you is two things the stock ones are weak and tend to crack or break and it help with the wheel hopping when your charging off the line, thats all i took from reading other threads about it
If you look at your motor while it is idleing, it does alot of jumping around. Im thinking that if you stiffin up the mounts, that vibration will be transferred to the rest of the car causing a big annoyance.[sm=dontgetit.gif]
Motor mount inserts are very inexpensive and far better, so I don't see the point in filling the mounts with that stuff when you can simply put inserts in. Using solid mounts is a great idea if you plan on making lots of power. All of these are to minimize wheel hop and transfer power to the ground quicker and more completely by reducing or eliminating the engines movement. They will all transfer more vibration and sound through the cars body making the engine and exhaust sound louder and the stiffer it is the more it will transfer which is why most opt for the inserts instead of the solid mounts.
