so i just purchased my first 2004 srt4. It has a full turbo back exhaust,hks b.o.v, and short ram intake. what i am having problems with is if you go wot from 1st gear usually in 2nd gear towards the higher rpm it just all of a sudden stops and bogs down. if you get off the pedal and back on it it will boost back up normal? it is spiking around 20psi. my question is this that i am experiencing "overboosting" or "spark blow out"? i have a wideband and my afrs are fine. can someone please help me as i am stumped on this

 

Is the car stock? Srt-4 doesn't have over boost. What is the a/f towards the top end, and your holding 20psi to redline?

 

Get ngk spark plugs, check the gap or coil pack.

 

I just got a 2004 srt4 also and I'm having the same problem sometimes it boosts hard and right but for the most part if I start from low rpms in all gears but mostly 4th and 5th it starts to spool and boost then bogs and I hear the blow off and everything. But like that other guy said if I let off the throttle and hit it again quick it boosts hard sometimes . All in all I have heard fuel pump . Spark plugs . Coil packs . Just looking for advice .. my check engine light just came one also don't know if it has anything to do with that.

 

well start by checking the cel....mine was the turbo inlet duct coupler was collapsing under wot and pretty much cutting all air going into the turbo. mine was a k&n . pretty sure that's your issue
