LMAO! wow you are one funny guy for ur age! i laughed my buttox off when i read ur post! hahhhha, anyway I have to disagree with you on that one! Im only 22 by the way, but still think im an old fart! heheheh, back on subject. I sucked when it came to cars, hated them, but needed them. I am a party guy and thats what i like and do best!! YAY!! house party, clubs (used fake i.d.) every weekend and never bothered with cars...so one day when i was around 17..WHOOPS gotta DUI, then i stopped the drinking and never had a drop since! So I decided to buy a ramp, and get under my car to do an oil change. OMG i thought it was going to be one of the HARDEST things EVER! As soon as i got under the car, i was like WTF! what am I looking for, so then I called up my party nub friends and they helped my..MY first oil change, then BOOM!!!! it hit me, and loved working on cars eversince then! and have been for 5 years now, going into my 6th yr! I have been working with hondas up until 2 weeks ago when i bought my srt-4! and MAN are they different! hondas are so easy that, Paris Hilton doesn't compare to it! hehehehe, ****!! But just dont wack out, or jsut dont start taking thinags apart. Go and read some manuals..not the owners manual, but a manual on your car, ei: chiltons..etc.... I learned by taking things apart since hondas were so easy to work with! I'd say get a cheap car and start there, so incase you do mess something up, its not gonna kill you. As in you messing up ur srt!! Just my two mesly pennies!

My best piece of advice, in order for you to learn to work on cars is to take it apart and reassemble it. It's best besause you know when you screwed up big time if it doest work/start! hahahah (note: only on an old beat up car!)

Yeah she's got that same "east coast" attitude as you. In fact, she used to be a cop! Don't get the wrong idea about her looking like some bulldike either. She's hot. She was a cheerleader and a gymnast if that tell's ya anything. But she grew up tough due to 2 older brothers and a alcoholic iron worker father. Dads on the wagon now, but her childhood was less than ideal to say the least. Sure makes for funny stories though. She became a cop because her ol man hated cops. The best thing about her is how she has managed to keep her sense of humour and how she learned what not to be like as a parent. It has made her a bit of an over achiever though, and I have to remind her to relax. She's not happy sitting still. It's great to work hard and take pride in whatever you do, but ya gotta take time to smell the roses too.
I hope this helps ya.

Ha ha!!! Im the same way. Everyone seems to think your some kind of dyke (especially the way I dress, but Im not one for attention, just love me for me) just because I act like a coffin nail and come off as a real bitch. I danced ballet for 16 years, played national soccer, and was the fastest chick in the state at the 45meter dash (indoor track). But I turned sour after a bad past also. It takes time to bring me out, but Im really the sweetest, most understanding person in the world. Its just that no one wants to give chicks like us the chance. Im sure your wife and I could have some damn interesting conversations, and we'd probably get along really well.

Chicks like her, keep my mind set on showing the "guys" that im not just another pretty face.

Yeah you'd get along great I'm sure. Her mom kept her and herself sane by getting out of the house.... alot. Consequently, she played sports, danced and did gymnastics. She held 2 different school records. They moved all over the friggin U.S. One record was in track for the womens 330 hurdles at some school here in Michigan and the other record was at her highschool in California for the most consecutive back hand springs. She's 38 now and she can still do that ****. Amazing.
Fastest in the state? That's awesome. I'm impressed.

Yeah until I got rearended by a ****ing drunk driver. Now I have a short leg, a twisted pelvis, nerve damage, slipped disc (which you can SEE just LOOKING at my back), discs that are completely dried up, the whole nine-yards. Thats why I got so into cars, I had nothing else to do with my time, no sports to play....so I looked at my brand new 2001 Stratus R/T Coupe and said...baby lets DO SOMETHING WITH YA!!!! And so the madness and debt began
