Default Air Box Screws

Darn it, !@#$%^&*()!@#$!!!!!!!

I took out my K&N air filter to clean and LIGHTLY re-oil it, and was very careful to try and not to drop any of the air box screws that hold the air box cover on. Sure enough, I DID drop one, and it fell into the most hard to get to cranny in back of the headlight that God ever created. Anyone (CAI owners?) have an airbox sitting around and don't mind parting with one of the screws that hold the top on? I'd be willing to pay the postage plus a couple of bucks for your time.......

Try fishing around with on of those magnetic antenna's kinda things.....I dropped my wrench into the bowls of compartment and stuck it down and with a couple motions, pulled wrench up. You think that is bad, was tightening Mopar BOV and snapped the top bolt!!!!!!! In Italy (no hardware stores handy) and have the tip of bolt in hand and the rest still in hole!!!!! UUUUMMMMM.....going to try and needle nose the piece when I get a long enough replacement bolt....until then......And the funny thing is...car runs the same with the top bolt gone!!!!! Wish I had not misplace block off piece when putting on BOV (BOV=POS!!!!) I would have taken that thing off and thrown it into the Mediteranean along time ago, but I am stuck with it until stateside and a dealer......DRAT!!!!!!![:@]

You and I think the same way....but the darn screw rolled up into a "tray" type of area and despite my best attempts with a magnetic screwdriver, it just rolled further into oblivion...I tried "fast launching" the car and slamming on the brakes, but the little screw is happy in its new home and refuses to come out.

I dont even have my stock airbox, that was obliterated in my accident. I have a stock airbox off of a stratus R/T.....I wonder if the bolts are the same?

Hey Dusty, I got a whole bunch of those. Kind of a built in spacer on them? They attach the lid? E mail me your address and Ill send them to you. How many? I have them from my friends airbox he chucked out for his CAI.

Did you pull the headlight???? There is a nice little space where things like to hide behind there. Let me know.
