'05 SRT-4 and Stage 1
Is it true that most of what Stage 1 did for the '03 and '04 cars is stock in the '05? Don't know where I heard or saw that but it's stuck in my head.
If it'll make the difference I'm reading here then I want to add it but it voids the warranty, right?

Stage 1 for 04 and 05 are the same, just ECU.....cars already have larger injectors....03 came with injectors and ecu...and yes, you get a code on s-1, some states car will not pass, will have to switch ecu back to s-0 then inspection, then back to s-1. Hope I understood and answered correctly....
Olie's right. The only difference between the 04 and 05 PCMs is their programming, which in no way affects power (hp/tq) AT ALL. However most of the 05s are slower than the 04s.... It seems that 04 was the better year of the three to have. The "true" 04s that is. Made on/after January 2004.
Stage 1 does not void the warranty. Its extremely rare that youd find a dealership that would completely refuse to work on your car if you have Stage 1. Stage 3 however....Ive seen it more often. But Stage 1, unless they're true ****** they wont say anything about it.
Stage 1 passes emissions....there are issues with Stage 2 w/toys passing emissions however. You just gotta know someone willing to run another "neon" on the dyno for ya.....thats how we do
