ORIGINAL: RIPSIGUY

Hey Pluggie, is that porno I see on that TV screen? LOL

LOL noooooooo. Thats only for real life, never on the TV. Its actually Stigmata, one of my absolute favorite movies. If you know the movie, youll realize it now that I said it, that its the priest in his office.

Get the kit here: http://autolumination.com/srt4.htm
$53 bucks and its yours. My LEDs were much cheaper, but these supposedly light up far better than mine do. o.O Hey whatever lol.

Heres my instructions. Theres also other instructions on the aforementioned page.

1. So you've got four screws. One on either side of the dash, and two in the little grating up top. Take those puppies out.
2. Then on your A-pillars, pry from the top with a good amount of force, but not too much youll break the clips. Take those out too.
3. Now, pull up on the dash from above the cluster....BUT NOT TOO HARD. Your boost gauge is still connected and you could damage it by pulling up too hard on the dash.
4. Unplug the boost gauge from the clip you see above the cluster. Now you wanna take that out dontcha?
5. Two phillips head screws lie behind it and bolt it in. Take those out. The bulb is right in the back, twist, take it out, and replace. One down.
6. Take the screws that are around the perimeter of the gauge cluster out. Then pull that out. It has a built in plug, so no need to worry about wires.
7. The bigger bulbs are the ones you want to take out. I believe theres 6 of them. Get some pliers and a rag and take them out that way, they're in pretty tight. Just twist/take it out/replace. Yes you CAN handle the head of LED bulbs. Its not like a regular light bulb.

Then put it all back together and your done!

lol lilspark..WOW sweet upgrade on the gauges..lil maybe that is porno.. hehehee..bad girl!! j/k. LOL same question about the bulbs?? was it off of ebay?? I wanna go red though..it looks MORE MEAN! Also can you tell us how you did the bulb swap? please, pretty please with strawberries on top! Srry no whip cream, not healthy for ya...heheehe
In order to go red, youd have to dismantle the entire cluster. Theres a green film inside of it, therefore the only color that you can go, and really really see it, without getting something like a speedhut gauge overlay, is Blue. You can try other colors, but they will never look as bright or as true. The only thing youd be able to get away with red in, would be the boost gauge.
