Mopar Air/Fuel dont work!
the new mopar air/fuelgauge don't work on any neon made 2003+. i bought one and it don't work so i went back to the dealer and he said i need to buy the sensor that will work....wich cost's $160 and the gauge only costed $60.....and the other thing is that the gauges says SRT on it but wont work on a SRT4.....thy must be dumb! <edited><editID>Looiney</editID><editDate>37916.9835416667</editDate></edited>
The guage is prolly for the SRT4 computer settings only. Why do you want an A/F ratio guage on a non-turbo car?</P>

I know what hes talking about. My friends neon was the same way. He wanted to putmy a/f ratio guage on his car for grins and giggles but couldnt do it.</P>
O2 sensors work by creating voltage, depending on the amount of heat. Yes I said it "heat" not O2 as most people are led to believe.
depending on the application the voltage range will differ. knowing what voltage range your guage and your sensor work at is important for proper readings. I have an air/fuel guage in my modified, 4 barrel 4.2L Wrangler.
There is a website that shows how to build an A/F meter for about 20.00 with parts from rat shack, not including O2 sensor. I don't have the link, "sorry" try doing a search on it, the guy built it to use on his Harley.
