Default SXT seats in a SRT-4

I looked around and didnt see a post about this, but if someone knows of one, feel free to link it.

I will be in the market for a SRT-4 in the spring. One thing I do not like about it, its the seats. If i was 5 foot 5, and 120 pounds soaking wet and skinny as a rail. That be one thing but being a larger dude, those bolsters are not that comfortable, this also being a daily driver, I may take it on long trips. I donot need to be sore.

Walking to my office I noticed a similar year SXT neon, and through the window I saw their seats. They got a little bolster to them, no more than my camaro, which I am perfectly happy with.

Being a ignorant question, would these be a complete bolt on swap. I want sure if SRT-4s had different seat bolt patterns or anything to do with the seat belts.

Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks!

You can get the SRT with the air bag seats. I believ that they are from regular Neons. I wouldn't wait untill the spring if you want a new one. 05 is the last year. One more thing. I am 6'4" and 225lbs. The Viper seats will stretch out some, but you can't tell when you are looking at them. The drivers seat in my car is now wider than the passenger seat. It fits perfect now.

I second coyoteyz13 response. I've placed 56k on my daily driver-long commute '03 and found that the seats have conformed to my size. At 6'1", 210, comfort was an initial consideration for me as well. Other than getting my 44 year old a** in and out of the vehicle, the seats have exceeded my expectations. Especially in high speed turns.

Add me to the list of happy Viper seat owners. They do look uncomfortable, and I admit they were for a bit, but as soon as you take a corner at a higher speed you'll love them. Feel free to do as you please, but just try them out first and I'm sure you'll be surprised how comfortable they really can be. Oh, and I'm 6' 2" and about 230 lbs. and I'd never dream of ever changing them.

Thanks for the tip, I will decide when I get mine. I posted this over srt forums and basically a sxt seat will work, but the viper/acr/srt-4 seat will be tight. i am just not willing to deal with that lol. Thanks for the help.
