I put on the Mopar BOV on my car a few weeks ago. I was wonderin how you would know if it was leaking and losing boost pressure?

Well did you take notes on your boost levels before you installed the BOV?

People definately take notice when they hear it.[sm=smiley4.gif]If I accelerate without getting into or right before boosting, then no one will be any the more wiser though.[sm=smiley15.gif]And after someone does try ya' it's all over for them, unless they have even more. But then again, who can do that when it's such a great sound.[sm=smiley24.gif][sm=smiley17.gif][sm=smiley16.gif]

The one thing I like to do is in 3rd give it gas and just ever so lightly let off the gas. What this will do is make the Mopar BOV pssssssss for a long time. I have been able to make it 15 sec. Its funny when you drive by people on the side of the road and it sounds like you have a real bad air leak. I had one guy stop me at a traffic light to ask what that sound was. lol

Have fun :-)

Finally, I got my pictures developed and boy do they suck. I took 3 pictures, or I should say that I tried to take 3 pictures, of my BOV after everything was done. Here is the only picture of the 3 where you can even see so much as a speck of the BOV.[sm=smiley5.gif]

No frickin' doubt on that one.[sm=smiley36.gif] I have seen a few pics with everything back in place that are 1,000 times better than mine with a throw away camera.

Mike,

I had my dealer (Gunn Dodge, San Antonio, Tx) install my Mopar BOV. I'm 6'2", 230 lbs, and have large hands. The dealer charged $80 and I supplied some Permatex gasket sealer......in the 4 1/2 years I owned my SRT-4, the BOV was never an issue......
