Default BOV Flutter???

I have a `05 SRT-4 and the first 3 Mods I've done are: Mopar Short Shifter, Force BOV and K&N Typhoon Cool Air Kit. These were all done on the same weekend. So what is that FLUTTER I sometimes hear when I get off the gas? It almost sounds like the impeller rubbing inside the Turbo. I know it's not. It's driving me NUTS!

It is called "Horse chatter" sometimes - I think that describes it well. The CAI is the reason you hear it, but it was always there. There is nothing wrong, it is just turbulence. We all have it. By-product of a turbo and an oben airbox.

Don't go nuts, man - it is just the sound of a neon that is about to stomp on a mustang.

Not a thing. It isn't your BOV, though - it is your turbo making the noise. You can just hear it now that you put on the intake. BTW - my first turbo car, too. I knew hondas and toyotas quite well. You'll get used to it - there is a ton more to understand, though, with a turbo.

OK, so now I know it's not the BOV but the Turbo. So now I'm ready to learn about my new Hot-Rod. I hit the REV limiter today. I was showing off the SRT to my kids and Hit the REV Limiter. I hope I didn't hurt it.[:@]

did your engine shut down right after you hit your rev limiter? its suppost to which saves it from tearing up the insides. if it didnt kill the engine then you might want to get it towed to the dealer or a good shop and come up with an excuse why your pistons are all chipped up.

jk man everyone does it a few times and as long as you leave it as a few youll be fine.

No, the engine just started to miss fire badly and the car fell on it's face if you know what I mean when it hit the limiter. It keep running and it drove home (2 1/2 miles) normaly. The tach hit 6200 or there abouts when it did this.
