A few weeks ago I noticed that under boost, primarily in 1st and 2nd, there was a fast rattling coming from under the hood towards where the turbo is. It sounded like my dirtibike right before the bottom end bearing whent out. The thing that get me is that my cars only mod is a CAI intake, I would expect this MAYBE from serious mods under more boost than stock. Im mostly a highway driver, does any body else know what this might be???

 

i have no idea if this could be your problem but since on one is answering you i'll tell give you a idea.i went to a srt meet here a month or so again,and about 5 of the guys had the heat shields near the turbo bent away from it.they said that it rattles.mine doesn't but i guess some of theirs does.

 

thats a dang good idea. Im not sure why I was not able to see that. That may not be the problem, but at least its an educated guess. thanks.
