Default trunk dress up kit

When I bought my srt it said it had a trunk dress up kit, but when I said, "Where is/what is a trunk dress up kit?" They said it was not installed, yet it was on the stick saying it had one. They said they were going to order one and put it on. I still have to go get it, went in the other day and they gave me some run around. Just wondering if anybody else had this same problem, and if anybody has said "trunk dress up kit."

That's a new one on me, I'll have to look at my window sticker when I get home in a few hours and see what it says. [sm=smiley3.gif]

It seems to be a standard feature for an srt-4. http://www-5.dodge.com/vehiclecompar...pareMatrix.jam
But I still am unsure what exactly it is. The salesman said it was the carpeting on the trunk lid. Anybody have carpeting or something on the trunk lid besides metal?
never mind the link, it doesn't seem to work

Just bare (painted silver!) metal on mine, it's what I grab on to close the trunk...[sm=smiley16.gif]

If you don't mind, go to the dealership and ask them about the dress up kit. See what they say? Was I mislead, plus I have yet to open the trunk. What the hell is it?

What he is talking about is part # TN46VXLAD and 6030441.

TN46VXLAD is the carpet for the trunk lid. It is an export only item. I didn't get it with my SRT, I found a dealership that had it and I bought one. They are very rare to find now. they went on Export only the last week of March.

Even thou it has it on the window sticker, you did get a trunk dress up kit. It just doesn't include the the trunk lid cover.
What had happened an SRT got this on the line by mistake. Someone posted it on the other board, and that started the fire storm.

I grab hold of the latch and pull down on it to close the trunk on mine.

Was your front air dam in your trunk still when you bought it or had the dealer already put it on...??[sm=smiley24.gif]
