for the winter, i would suggest either 0w40 or 5w30. you want the thinner oil to protect against wear during cold starts, and it's going to get cold! in the summer a 10w could be used if you want. i use 0w40 all year.

I live in DE and am switching to 5W-30 from 10W-30.

Ditto to PSI Chick. I also use Mobil 0-40 all year. It gets cold here in Wisconsin also.

I read where Fram made the Mopar filters and Fram filters have not received good reviews on the oil websites I've visited. That said, I've had nothing but Mopar filters on my SRT-4 since day one. One of these days I'm going to fork over a few extra pennies and get a Mobil 1 oil filter or at least a NAPA Gold.

I use 0w-40 Mobil-1 during the winter, even though it doesn't get that cold here. Next summer, I'm going to try the 0w-40 as well since it gets hotter than hell down here.....

I use the Mobil 1 5W30 with the Mobil 1 filter. For very cold weather I highly suggest either the Mobil 1 5W30 or 0W30-0W40 and either the Mobil 1 filter or the K & N filter.
