Hope everyone had a better day than me. . . .
Ok here's the story. I dropped my car off at Dodge this morning to get the boost gauge replaced, a routine 6k oil change, and a tire rotation. I dropped my car off at 8:30 this morning, they told me it would be done NO LATER than 2. At 3:15 "Stewie from Dodge" calls to tell me they looked at the gauge and wanted the opinion of my forum on whether or not to replace it. Ummm. . . doesn't he work for Dodge, shouldn't he know how to fix it or replace it?? I get to Dodge and they tell me they will order a boost gauge and will install it tomorrow. Ok I say, and I'm on my way. 20 blocks later I take a turn and my car slips a gear (it feels like) and putters to a halt, in the right lane of one of the busiest intersections in Boulder, oh and did I mention it was during rush hour? I call Dodge and they tell me to call Diamler Chrysler Road Assistance. I call and they tell me a tow truck is on the way. Ok, then the best thing ever happens. . . A jeep comes flying around the corner, and SMASHES into the back of my car. Yep isn't that lovely? Well after that, they try to jump my car, no such luck. Tow truck comes 2 hours later takes it to the ****ty Dodge dealership I bought it from. 1/2 hour of bitching and moaning later they put me into a neon, whoo hoo. My poor lil car is smashed and broken. They think it's the alternator or the starter, great. . .

Sorry, hun. Didn't see this the other day - Don't fret too hard, it will be fine. I did my front end for 6000 dollars in damage and you cannot tell at all...infact, i think my bodyshop did a better job aligning panels than the factory. The paint blend is absolutely undetectable.

After a few MORE minor problems we are back in business. They did a great job with the paint and everything. A minor mishap with the plug wires, but everything is great now!!! No more regular neon!

Your dealer must be Valley Chrysler Dodge Plymiouth. I work in Boulder and live in Brownsville, the unincorporated sub west of Erie. I got my SRT in Greeley because I wanted Orange Blast and non-viper seats. Also, Valley didn't see any need to negotiate. Guess I'd better watch out for their service department!
