take out your intake and you can get at that pipe from the right side of the car. just reach your hand under there and you can get it pretty easlity. the first time we did mine it was so loose we could hand tighten it!

we leak test my car before i go to the track, every time. and we always find some kind of leak, and at one point this summer we were testing it almost on a weekly basis. get some t-bolts, they are well worth it.

minor leaks aren't that bad, major leaks can potentially cause problems. when you're leaking, the turbo has to work harder to produce the power that the ecu is looking for.

With my Stage 2 setup, just fixing my two boost leaks gained me 6mph through the traps, from 99 to 105. Now that outlet pipe CAN be a bugger. Sometimes you have to loosen up those two bolts under the motor and slide that sucker back up onto the turbo outlet. Of course, loosen the top clamp first

I checked out the outlet today, and went over the rest again aswell. It is for sure boosting SO much better than it was before this weekend. Feels great.

I had one hell of a time getting my hands in position to even get to it though. I got it as tight as I could as far as I could tell. Towards the end I was actually bleeding on my turbo lol... The clamps aren't in completely horrible spots, but smaller hands and arms would be awesome for this. I guess I need to do a test again soon, and then just regularly go over them all. I gotta look into them t-bolts to.

And one last question hopefully someone can address... How are you guys getting to the hotside pipe where it connects to the intercooler? As hard as the outlet is for me this one is much much harder.

Anyone have the sizes required for Stainless "t-bolt" replacement clamps and where to source them from please?
