Default Water in oil in $20 OCC

Well its cold here, haven't been on in awhile( been in IRAQ with the military) but anyway I drove my car the other day, filled up with gas and noticed water had mixed with the oil in my Cambell Hausfield $20 OCC. I noticed the valve cover on the bottom was gone, I imediately checked the oil and no water spotted in the oil ( dipstick) I cleaned it out and wa lah 5 days later , same trash. is it the oil is so hot when 0 degree weather hits it is pulling condensation ? any help would be appreciated

Excellent deduction my dear watson - you are correct.

I had the same concern last winter when I started seeing it, but once spring came around and temps started to rise, no more water. Checked it for the first time since It got below 32 degrees just yesterday and it is back.

Yup, I bought my SRT-4 in the winter and soon noticed water in the newly installed OCC. I kinda freaked with it being a new car and all, but soon the problem went away with warmer weather. I compared notes with another SRT-4/OCC owner and they said the same thing.....[&:]
