BOV

welcome........
I don't know anything about all about the BOV, but let me ask you something else. You have a white SRT, and well,,,,,so do I. What color/kind/style of wheels do you think would look good on yours?

Seriously - don't make yourself too crazy. You'll look good in any of the colors you are thinking of. Just skip the gold(you might get tired of the bling)...otherwise, figure out a color choice and then go find the lightest wheel that gives you the look. You'll feel better once you just buy them, I know I did(after months of similar ponder).

I have a set of Eneki's sitting in my garage that was on my last car they are 18x8's wrapped in Perelli's and I am not sure if they are going to fit. They are a gun metal silver. They looked super tight on my last car and I hope they do fit for the same reasons.
I have a HKS supper SQV blow off I use on my '85½ SVO mustang and it is the loudest I've ever heard. Loud whistle and a pressure blast that sounds like a large air cannon going off. Scares the **** out of everyone near by. Very easy to adjust to
honestly...a bov is a waste of money if the car is stock, its called a "ricer mod", along with CAI, both do nothing for a stock turboed car under 300hp. if i were you i would save the money and go stage 1...but thats me
Well as he pointed out, he's obviously not getting the BOV for a power increase, he just likes the sound. If that is "ricer" (on a DODGE????) in your opinion, then whatever. 2nd...CAI does help. It may be minimal, but IMO it's a decent bang for the buck mod.
yes, but they only add minimum HP, i dont think its worth the money honestly, CAI basically do little to help as it sucks in COLD air, which then goes into a HOT turbo, which pushes out the air HOT. Of course, im not certain about the srt-4's setup, but for the turbo cars i deal with, CAI does very little, and unless you just have pockets bulging out, its a waste of money.
Am i wrong? because im not positive about this, so if i am, lemme know, because im interested in how this works.
thanks

Well, the purpose of an intake is to bring in as much air as possible. Colder air is denser, turbo or not. I think the reason people will spend 250ish dollars on 5ish hp has something to do with the aesthetics it adds under the hood.
There are many benefits, especially for and on a turbo car. The colder the air is going into the turbo, the cooler it will be coming out of it even though the turbo heats it up. This also helps the turbo by keeping it cooler resulting in far less chance for turbo or oil damage/failure. The cooler it is coming out of the turbo the more efficient and effective the intercooler will be resulting in a cooler and denser air charge going into the engine. This all translates into more power, better fuel mileage and longer turbo life. K & N advertises a 12.4 horsepower gain with their Typhoon CAI on the SRT-4.
