cold air intake

Any opinions on the AEM intakes?
Any opinions on the AEM intakes?
I can't ignore the fact that mopar has used AEM/DC as the developer/supplier for their branded parts. I have always used their stuff, and never had an issue.
I plan to buy the AEM cold air since it's CARB approved to avoid any hassle in the long run for a stupid intake.
I've read so much on the intake topic, it's always the same thing. Some say they're no good, others say the opposit. Personally, I believe there are some small gains to be had, and the function of the space opened up, SOUND, and looks is worth it enough for me.

And there could be negative issues as well, like the way my car is falling flat on its face and sending me into limp mode now that it is sucking in air that is 10 degrees farenheit. An enclosed airbox might be nice, right now.

And I thought it was just me. PHR, you are probably no worse off. I have the stock air box and since it has gone down to single digits, I have noticed a substantial loss of neck problems. Too bad, we'll just have to hope for a warm spell.
I had the AEM in my car, no complaints at all, awesome intake. Ill probably be getting the Mopar one, because even if it may just be a sticker on an AEM intake. That sticker keeps my warranty active, and I get a huge discount off Mopar parts. Just cause....just cause Im me.
That sticker does NOT keep your warrenty active. Who ever told you that is full of crock. In fact, MOPAR says on the website that the addition of its parts may infact void the warrenty, if applicable. And for any dealer to decline the warrenty of service on your car, they have to be able to prove beyond all means that the modification in question caused the problem in which you are wanting to get repaired. And if one dealer says no and wants to be an *** about it, just go to another. Ive had this problem with an EVO and my SRT.
