Default Do I Buy Stage 1 or Stage 2? Dealer install or DIY?

I am going to buy a Stage 2, Mopar exhaust, and BOV. I would like to have a dealer put it all on for me. But I don't want to be the first SRT-4 they have worked on. Anyone have a dealer they would recommend? I'll drive anywhere in Southeastern Michigan.
Or should I just pull it all on myself and keep my fingers crossed if I need warranty work done.

2005 SRT-4 2,100 miles and still all stock... but not for long...

Anyone want to tell me I'm a wimp, and I should do it my self?

I'll stand up for ya! I can't put any of those parts on. Just because you don't know how to put those parts on does not make you a wimp.

I would write more about this, but I have some show tunes I need to download.

The only reason I would want the dealer to put the parts on is to be able to warrenty engine parts later down the road with out any issues. Will I get a hard time from the dealer anyway with these parts installed? I just want the Mopar exhaust, Mopar Blow off valve, and the Stage 2 kit w/o the toys. Did someone say Stage 2 wasn't worth the money and to just get Stage 1? How much more 'real world' power would I see btw Stage 1 and Stage 2 if I'm using the Mopar exhaust and the BOV?

The Mopar BOV isn't going to add anymore power to your car, so you can leave it out of the equation. Stage 1 and the Mopar/Borla exhaust and a K&N filter will add about 10 ponies from the dyno charts I've seen. The dealer put many of my mods on (I live in a condo complex and we can't even wash our cars, much less work on them). I've had it in twice for warranty related issues after they did the installs and had no problems getting the work done. It wouldn't hurt to check with the service advisor beforehand though, my salesman had told me the Stage 1 would void "turbo warranty" which as we all know by now isn't true, but then that's another can of worms......

He was trying to "harvest" some action down on Telegraph Rd.
Telegraph Rd is a road in the Detroit area.

Better?

I "farm" the Kalamazoo area, but pickins are mighty slim.

So it looks like I'll install all the parts myself. I'm leaning twords Stage 2, haven't placed the order yet...

Ahh ya, farming in Kalamazoo area, I've had a few very good races out that way. [sm=smiley20.gif]
