Here they are!!!
here is kinda what I am talkin about...I am so bad at this, I made it in paint it might look worse now but you might get the idea. Get matching gold in the back as a shadow instead of that color yellow. Just a suggestion...nothing more.

Another cheap tire to consider is the dunlop fm901. Tire rack had em on special for around 80 a tire last i checked.
I definitely like the wheels, word. Good luck on that photo embedding thing - sounds like it got ya' all frustrated, there[sm=bomb.gif]. Try resizing the picture with adobe photoshop or microsoft picture manager next time.

Thanks for all the nice comments!
Highrever: If I were 20 years old again, I might make the graphics plunge, but I think I am already pushing it with the gold wheels....LOL.
Something I would like to add to the discussion of wheels. It *seems* that my car is faster since I put the wheels on. It *seems* that I have more of a problem with traction. Now, I know the wheels are lighter, but surely it couldn't make a noticable difference in the speed, right? I think it is the placebo effect, but it really does seem faster.

The wheels look great! Congratulations. As far as seeming faster goes, if the tires are not as tall as the stockers, it will have basically the same effect as lowering your gear ratio. You can think of it in two ways; a) What you gain in speed, you lose in power and vise versa. b) A shorter (smaller diameter) tire also has a smaller circumference, meaning that for each revolution of the tire (and the engine), you travel less distance. This may seem like a bad thing, but it isn't necassarily. You will loose a little top speed, but your engine will have more leverage on the road, meaning quicker acceleration. It's a big compromise. I'm sure the PVO people at DCX put a great deal of effort into the final ratios, but lowering will almost always feel quicker.
As for Highrev's picture editing, I think we should all take turns customizing (or perverting) the pics and compare ideas. It could be fun! [sm=happy046.gif]

That really is interesting. I didn't know that.
It makes a lot of sense, when you think about what you said, though.
It just didn't seem possible that I could actually feel a difference in the speed. Thanks for posting that.
