I was wondering i have Stage 3 w/toys and about 20 to 22 pounds of boost but when my car hits about 5000 rpms it starts to bounce to18 then 22 and so on but really fast. that is the only time it does it not on 0 or 1 only 2 or 3 i get so many opinions around where i live so now i am taking it to the people on dodge forums. some say boost leaks some say weak waste gate acctuator HELP

 

Kinda weird that the gauge would do that. If you have another friend with an SRT just swap gauges momentarily and see if his does it. I cant see why a bad WGA would only do that in 4th and 5th gear at that amount of rpms, if it were to be bad, it would be bad in almost every gear...I would think. LOL

Unless you meant those are the only numbers it fluctuates at.

And you musn't have a stock boost gauge, because that only reads up to 20lbs.

 

it does it on all gears but not in mode 0 or mode 1 on the turbo toys boost settings

 

settings 0 and 1 keep the boost below 20psi. maybe the gauge is bouncing around because it's trying to read outside of it's range. either way, with s3 you should have a 30psi gauge.

 

I do have a autometer 35 psi gauge
