Default Injen air intake

i just bought my injen air intake anf the bracket that connects the intake pipe to the damping bushing on the battery box didnt even come close to the mounting point in the directions. Anyone else have the same problem?

I have an Injen and i didnt experience any probs. do tighten down anything; wait till you fully install the intake B4 you start to tighten...
After that enjoy your blow-off sound you get when shifting...

Yeah i had the same damn problem!The thing drove me crazy so finally i just gave up and now it's on a little crooked.I'll probably be the only one who will notice though.

That's not the only aftermarket SRT-4 item to have fitting problems....the GReddy oil catch can is a bitch/bastard to locate in engine compartment.....the little $20 oil catch can was a piece of cake......[&:]

Yeah, I'm thinking of going with the $20 catch can instead. But the pretty chrome GReady would look so good under the hood.[sm=smiley24.gif]

True, if you get the smaller version. That thing I got was just small enough to fit with maybe 1/8" of clearence from the pully/fanbelt. And I refused to drill holes in the body of a new car!!![&:]
