Could be your TPS, you may need a PCM reflash also.

recapitulate your NDG and then recalibrate the LSJND override module sensor array device sensor module sensor. That should do the trick.

When my friends TPS was frayed, the car would die out, and have a hard time starting back out. It happened to me while I was driving the damned thing. I had to push it up a hill across two lanes of traffic. Not a good time.

TPS or IAC....or a potential PCM issue. I went through this whole shindig and when they replaced the TPS all was well

Could be a tps issue and that makes sense being as though as the problem is so on and off, but I have another thought. If the car is started without the proper skim key, this can happen as well. I don't know if it is possible for the chip in the key to have issues, or for the alarm to have an intermittent problem, but if so that may be the issue. Maybe try the other key you have and see i the issues continue.

Just an alternative explanation.

Anyone who knows the elecronics end of the srt-4 real well want to chime in here?

i had this problem when i had an extra key made for the srt-4 and it did not come from dodge. the car would run for a few seconds and cut off like clock work. the car kept running only one time out of many tries.

However he said it did start up, so it couldnt be the key. But yes with a chip not programmed to the correct skim code, the car will start for a few seconds then shut off, and your CEL light will come on and alert you of the problem.

i took the car into the dealership and they could only get the car to run properly (of course) scince then the car has ran like a champ exept for the boost that maxes out then drops 3 or 4 tics but it still pulls hard. if anymore symtoms occure ill post it. thanks for the help. LilSparkPlug it sounds like you have been through it all with you car. i once saw this quote on a poster, "there are two kinds of people in this world, ones that learn from others mistakes and problems and there are those who make and go through all the problems" it seems as if you are the second one. i only say this because when someone has an "impossible" problem to solve on the forum you seem to have a solution and personal experience

the code the engine put out by turning the key forward in the ignition 3 times was P 0513. posthonda, you nailed it on the head, i looked up the codes and that is was the code meant. it was a skim key problem. seems like many of the veterans of this foum know damn near everything... how!!
