Ive been looking everywhere for map clamps. Can anyone sell me one with a voltage setting for my setup:

FMIC, Stock Turbo @20psi, 0016 Cams/Cam Gears, Stage 1, 3inch Exhaust.

Im one of the fastest srts in miami, but i came across someone else who thought otherwise. He has Map Clamp on and Ported Turbo and he is pretty quick. I have Cams and Cam Gears, which i felt a stronger pull 3rd and 4th gear then 2nd gear. PLEASE, SOMEONE SELL ME A CLAMP.

 

You need a wideband to tune a map clamp. All cars are different. You are probably already running lean. 20 psi on the stock fuel system is pretty high. Read this page.

It clamps that signal from the map sensor. By doing so, you are hiding some of the boost from the ECU. This causes the ECU to not give as much fuel which makes the car faster. SRTs are extremely rich. However, if you tune too far and go lean, you are screwed. That is why you need a Wideband AFR guage. Not a standard AFR guage.

 

Don't worry about your ignorance. did you see what I asked? Earlier, I asked what a TB was. I found out that it was a throttle body, but now I'm too embarassed to ask what a throttle body is.

 

Well word, tell your friend that this is the web definition for throttle body:
A housing containing a valve to regulate the airflow through the intake manifold. The throttle-body is usually located between the air cleaner and the intake plenum.
