I hate boost
i have my first boost problems. so im in chicago and its cold right now. after i let my engine warm up and floor it, i only get around 12-13 lbs in 3rd 4rth and 5th. and it spikes at 14. and sometimes itll hold at 14 and then drop randomly at around 4-5K to around 11. this started to happen just as weather got cold and im stock. i was thinkin i need to tighten my clamps but i need some hlep with that. i tried checking for a map to help me find all the damn clamps and i cant find it on this thing again so im asking for help. if this isnt due to clamps then what? i have OCC and took off airbox and i really dont wanna go take it into dealers.
Alot of the intercooler leaks occur at the clamps on the hose going to the "hot side" of the intercooler. If you get under the front passenger side of the car and look up at the engine, you'll see the rubber hose going to the intercooler.....make sure those clamps are tight. The tube that comes right off the turbo is another common site for leaks....it's harder to get to, though.

Also remember that boost is always lower in cold weather. Cold air is denser so the computer cuts boost to adjust. You should still get the same oomph, just lower boost readings at the gauge.
no thats not normal cuz i use to get at least around or above 14 in the higher gears and now i dont

sounds like my car. about those clamps best thing is a 1/4 inch drive ratchet with a 8 mm socket get the car up in the air and lay down underneath to get to those clamps. another thing you might chech is the soft hose that runs under neat it is very prone to damage

to tell you the truth im not actually sure if i can feel a power dif. and when i usually do i think it might be in my head. i base my power from 3rd gear rolls all the way to redline. so for the most part there is no major noticeable power change. and do you think you could be able to feel it even with around 2lbs less boost?
