Default Need help with factory bov plate

I wondered if any one could offer me some advise on installing the factory bov offered from mopar? I spent 2 hours installing this plate on my 2005 SRT 4. Took the car around the block couldn't here any sound difference and seemed to be some performance drop. I installed the gasket bov plate and surge valve just the way the instructions said and I wonder where I could of have gone wrong. Do any of lines on the turbo body or surge value have to be capped off ? The car I test drove had this option on it and when I shifted I got this neat little pssst noise like air being released out of a compressor. Call me crazy but it sounded cool any advise on this would be greatly appreciated

make sure that the pink line is plugged in. also, not to sound like you don't know what you're doing, but make sure that the plate isn't on backwards. this is a very common mistake with that part.

If its backwards it will be just as silent as when you first got the car....

make sure you tightened all the bolts to about 65lbs (i think thats what they have perferred) and make sure you reconnect anything you take off where it belongs. also like every1 said make sure its on correctly, theres a crecent shaped hole on the turbo and the plate, make sure they line up the larger hole goes on the bov side not the turbo side
