Has anyone with stage 3 with toys had any luck running Torco octane booster and HOM????

 

no. you can't be cheap with s3, you need real race gas (104, not 100). if you're running w/i you can get away with torco, but that's about it.

 

I have water injection. Running a bottle of NOS racing formula octane booster and 80% meth/20 % water, I have had good success holding HOM. Also, running the w/i with a mix of 100 octane, HOM holds good. I have heard of some stage 3 cars running just a bottle of Torco and no W/I and holding HOM.

Please Note: where I live the max octane is 91. However, I have found a station selling 100 octane at the pump.

 

I take it HOM is different with s3 than with s2 w/ toys?

 

you can use torco and hold hom, a friend of mine does it with cali gas.

i wouldnt do it thought he took his engine apart and there were a lot of deposits from the torco all over the head.

 

w/i baby steam cleans the head whhoooooo hoooooooooo.

 

Yes, I was wondering about this and the comment about torco leaving deposits on the head. My guess with the W/I the head would remain
free of deposits.
