Default 2005 dodge srt4 vs. 96 integra gs "b20 swap"

my friend has a 96 integra with a basic b20 swap...not vtec...
he has an exhaust, dc headers, and intake....

u think a stock 05 srt4 can take him?

yeah dude ive raced a few fully built integras (b20 swap w/ turbo, fully build engine, 3 type r's)

i was stock with 2 of the type r's and walked them soooo bad.

i wasnt sock when i raced the others and still the only quality ive seen is the ability to launch since they have no low end trq they will shoot out of the hole hard but die after that. just dont blow the launch and you should be fine.

why did your friend swap engines and not put a vtec head on?

Good question...If it's a GSR, it's already got the vtec head, so he shoulda just swapped heads...

swaping to the vetc head is one of the main points of doing an engine swap. the only good reason not to put a vetc head on is if he plans to put a turbo on it, which if he built the motor he should already have done it.

youll kill a b20 swapped teg. i just traded my 01 gsr fully built (bored out 2.0, 12.5:1 comp cp pistons, eagle rods, darton sleeves, complete skunk2 valve train, type r cams, cam gears, 4-1 header, cai, gutted cat, exhaust, pullys, 6lb flywheel and stage2 exedy tripple puck clutch and obd1 p72 ecu) and it pulled b20 swaps and itr w/ slight mods all day....... my new srt is definatly faster than my teg was..... you got him all day! just get a good launch.

nvm. im pretty sure i can beat him now. haha i found out his 1/8 mile time

and he calculated it, told me his best time was 14.8 quarter mile.
