My assumption would be that it's oil. I was redoing my catchcan and installing a short throw shifter today, when I walked by my rear bumper and thought I saw small specks of road tar all over it. Upon closer inspection, the "tar" wiped right off. I had a little oil in my cc, so obviously it works, but what's the deal with all the speckles of blackness on my bumper and exhaust tips?

RE: Blackness coming out of tailpipe......
Running some Amsoil "PI" fuel treatment will cut it down a little more, but it never goes away 100%..........also check your hose clamps on your OCC lines on a regular basis, they work loose from the engine vibrations. If you have the Campbell-Hausfeld OCC, take the little white filter element out of it to make it more effective.....
I'ts pretty bad. I currently don't have any performance mods(AEM CAI will be here Wed. they say...) so how is it that I am running too rich? Good ol' factory richness?
Yeah good old factory richness, even from the factory they get it. But I had an exhaust leak in the rear and my entire spare tire well is covered in carbon....yay o.O
