Fog light replacement bulbs
Any one tell me if the they make bright white bulb replacements for our fog lamps for the 2005 srt4 ? bought some of the silver star for my head lights but now the fog lights look a wee bit yellow thanks all .
The APC bulbs that Paul had in his SRT were damn bright! And all they were was APC! Try Nokya Artic Whites....those are decent bulbs if you want something white with a hint of blue to it.
Tried finding a number for the silver stars fog light bulbs ckecked with local auto parts dealer they tell me they dont make them only the head light bulbs any one have a part number for the silver star bulbs ? thanks again for the input
I put Silverstars in the fog lights (H3'S, 55 watt), they're ok, but I put 100 watt H3's in the driving lights in my truck, the things are incredible. People freaking go off the road if I forget to turn them off on oncoming traffic. WalMart sells the regular 100 watt H3 bulb for 5 bucks a piece. Pep Boys has them too, but for 10 bucks a piece. I dont think the SRT4 uses H3's in the fog lamps, it may be a 899 or something similar. Look at the wattage, 899's are only like 27 watts. There are other bulbs that will fit the housing with a higher wattage, usually 37.5 watts. Maby 983's or something like that... or 893's????????????????[sm=pcwhack.gif]
The other problem I have with Sylvania's is they burn out quickly. I only got 6 months out of the set in my wifes car. APC SuperWhites are actually cheaper than Sylvanias, and work as good or better, and they last longer.
EuroLights brand lights stink, dont use those.

I have eurodezigns in my car, they're yellow. 893/899 is the code (both are the same). Either will fit. They lasted me around 38,000 miles before one **** the bed (excessive vibration gotta buy new ones). Excessive vibration is a common problem that causes these bad boys to blow out.
I like the yellow fogs though (it was actually a 55w bulb...oop) they look alot better with the HIDS.
