With toys or without toys
I want to get the Mopar Stage II upgrade, but I'm debating the toys. I realize that it add's about 15 HP and 20 ft-lb when using the HOM, but my concern is how often I'll be able to find 100 octane. Also, since where I'm living now and where I'll be moving to in June get's pretty cold in the winter, I won't be able to use the intercooler sprayer several months out of the year.
I guess my basic question is if there are any other advantages of having toys with the Stage II than the HOM and intercooler sprayer?

The stage 2 w/toys also comes with a DAB switch, which ables you to turn the boost down to 7psi for daily driving and put at 17psi for racing.Ijust ordered the stage 2 w/toys one because i like that you can run minimal boost and not loose gas mileage and if someone rolls up on you its just a flip of a switch and boom 17psi. plus if you ever want to upgrade to stage 3 they make a add on kit but it only works with the stage 2 w/toys,if you dont get the toys and want to go stage 3 you would have to sell the stage 2 kit and purchase the stage 3.Is it worth it?To me it is but to each there own...Hope this helps a lil bit
You can use hom with out race gas... Octane booster and water injection... Look em up
Theres also the DAB switch, so you can control traction...
I researched the topic a lot, and toys sound great. I went without though for various reasons.
Also, there's a guy on SRTforums who is making a bootleg toys - like $100. You'll need a PCM that has toys though.

Where can you get "good" octane booster? The stuff you buy in a can at Auto Zone and places like that only raise octane a few points...meaning from 93 octane to 93.3 octane.
Get the TOY's, its well worth the extra expense, and if you decide to go with stage 3, it will cost less in the long run.
The best Octane booster I have found is NOS Racing formula, this will increase octane up to a full 7 points. With a bottle of this added to 8 gallons of 91 octane and w/i, I have been able to hold HOM with my stage 3 with toys.
Torco also makes a good octane booster. But based on cost, the NOS formula works well.

Did a little looking around and found this on a Viper site.
