Is there a way to upgrade the stock WGA? If so, how? And does it matter if I have stage 1??????

Go to your nearest auto discount store and pick up some trottle body springs. remove your heat shield, and remove the little safetly pin from the WGA Arm on the manifold. Insert one end of the spring in there so that the arm doesnt come off the manifold and the other end strectch it and find somewhere to attach it too. That alot will allow you to hold more boost. Adding a boost controller will help you make good power.

 

Warning: this is dangerous. I wouldn't call it a safe way to go at all. Ghetto mods can lead to ghetto booms.

note:do NOT push over 16 psi on the stock setup.

 

A manual boost controller, something that bleeds pressure to "fake out" the wastegate.
