I am thinking of going with the Perrin turbo back. That or the MPx. Question about the Perrin: Does it come with an O2 Housing or just downpipe and catback?
Is the perrin is a turboback, i believe it includes the o2 housing

i havent seen a turbo back exhaust that comes with o2 housing. they consider that part of the turbo.

bingo. a turboback is a dp and catback, not o2 housing. they do consider it part of the turbo, but also they don't include it because if you change turbos then you often times will need to swap o2 housings, making the exhaust useless or requiring modification to it. no one wants that.

i would definetly suggest the perrin over the mpx. the perrin is really nice, i have a sound clip of it i can send to you if you want it. i've heard the mpx, and i honestly think it sounds horrible. plus it doesn't have great supports and the brackets seem to break. not sure if they fixed that or not.

have you considered the maxxfab exhausts? they're cheaper than the perrin and the quality is just as good if not better. plus they're highly customizable, so you can get it however you want, not just how they send it to you.

Thanks PSI for the info. I did not realize the maxxfab was that much cheaper. Maxxfab downpipe-no cat & catback is $585 + $40 shipping.

Whoa there Kee-mo-saabee. That's why I titled this "exhausting research". That 585 system you're jumping all over is a 3" dp yes, but attached to a Mopar/Borla 2.5 system. That is why it is so cheap. It does have the bottle neck cut off and is supposed to flow more the the regular M/B system normally does. So pay attention. Trying to compare apples to apples is difficult when you start to read the fine print and factor in shipping etc., etc.
I have nothing against Maxx-fabb but the as of this moment do not have what I'm looking for which is a dual tip 3" system but it is promised soon and I await with baited breath. I think their quality and prices are good and would like to see the price of their system comparable to the Perrin. That is what I'm in the market for. The Injen is only 500 yes, but cat back. I want to be 3" turbo back and having a muffler would be nice. So you gotta figure 250+ for a 3" DP sans cat. Add that to the 500 and your at 750 at least and still have no muffler. At 869, turbo back, polished, with 1/2 inch flanges and a muffler and made in the USA, the Perrin is very solid. If you don't mind going with a single tip, Maxx-fabb already has several good choices. M/F also says they have a dual tip coming out this month. For what its worth, Premier truck has the GHL exhaust which is a 3" turbo back dual tip for just over 800 SHIPPED. However, it has not a muffler or resonator. So there are many choices and they all seem to be somewhere north of 800 for me. So what it will take to decide it for me will probably be the details.

I realized by reading on maxxfab's website that the mopar/borla catback was a 2.5" system. If you want a 3" system than this isn't for you, I am one of them. I just threw the prices out their as a benchmark for comparision. As far as my decision I am still leaning toward the Perrin b/c of the muffler. Not on the maxxfab bandwagon as of now. Thanks for mentioning the GHL. I have not read much about this one and will have to research this one a little further.

Emissions? This is Michigan. Gods country. No emissions. Besides, I would use mine for offroad use only.

i passed emissions with no cat the stage ecu's make the second o2 sensor stoic which is why it doesn't throw a code when you remove the cat....so unless they do a visual it will pass.
