I mostly use it on my bikes under hard braking and downshifting to keep the rear wheel from locking up and losing traction.
How's that for off topic?

Just curious? If double clutching involves putting the vehicle in neutral and letting off the cluth and then revving it how do you do this on a bike, I never can find neutral between gears exept 1 and 2??? You are just bliping the throttle, get the fact right.

no u hold the cluch in and gas it then drop the cluch (usally in a lower gear) u dont hold in netural.

no that's actually a good point- you obviously aren't going to shift down to N from 3rd or 4th (or 5th or 6th, of course)- but what I was referring to was the pause btn shifts to let the speed come down and keep the rpm's up- I just assumed you'd know what I was talking about- more in relation to heel-toe driving. Next time I'll s-p-e-l-l it out for you.[sm=smiley24.gif]
