Default Auto Setting for Apexi Turbo Timer

I was reading the link on how to install the turbo timer and everyone pretty much said not to worry about the O2 & A/F settings, however without these settings I can not use the Auto-timing function of the timer. Does anyone know how to get this working? I've read that you might have to tap into your downpipe or get a new O2 sensor or etc. If anyone has had ACTUAL experience with this any advice would be MUCH appreciated! You guys rock!

you need a new o2 sensor. the apexi unit is designed for different voltage readings than the srt has, which is why most people don't use it as you can't use all the functions.

Thanks PSI! Any suggestions on which one is applicable? I already have the turbo timer in, so I want to do what it takes to get it running at full capacity....

you have two options....

you can get a o2 sensor that reads from 0-1v and mount it in a seperate bung. or you can get an o2 sensor meant for a wideband and mount it in a seperate bung. the o2 sensor for a wideband will be much more accurate, but they are also much more expensive.
