dealership dramma
So i took my car to the dealership to get fixed because the intercooler pipe connected to the turbo came off...... they called me the next day and told me warranty would not cover it since i removed the surge valve to put the block off plate for the bov.. He said pressure from that blew it off but wouldnt havin a bov cancel that out?
Sounds like time to get a new dealer. Pretty lame i agree.
I can see their point - but at the same time, a "good" dealer would do it for you. See, by making you very happy they ensure future business - i can never believe how many dealers lose sight of that.

many dealers do not want the business from srt-4's, you have to remember that. they consider us more trouble then we are worth due to hassles about modifications.
why did you take it to the dealer in the first place and not just put the pipe back on? did it damage something else? and tell them that the plate didn't cause the pipe to fall off....dodge doing a crappy job of tightening the clamp on that pipe from the factory is the problem. mine has almost fallen off twice now. this is a great example of why it's so important to check your hoses and clamps perioically and make sure everything is tight.

I'm torquein' my 5 clamps every 1500 miles now, or about every 2 to 3 weeks. Just did them again last night. They were just a little loose. I was just loosing a little boost. The boost guage was just starting to go 'blury' on me. Much better now that I re-torqued them. The boost guage is as steady as ever. Wow, the power came back to.
