Turbonetics upp
Man this turbonetics upp realy sucks, the bov sits on the bottom side of the pipe and makes it a pain to adjust, and also the bov greddy type-s, by hand I can turn the bov, I mean I have it as tight as it sholud be but I can turn it like its on a swivil. Is that normal? Boy what a f---in pain this has been.
can you take a picture of where it sits? they all sit low, but it shouldn't be THAT low. and no, you shouldn't be able to spin the bov at all...it should be bolted onto a flange that is welded to the pipe.
the bov is bolted to the flange which is connected to a part that is welded to the pipe. the flange and the bov spin togehter. I guess if you wanted to redirect the direction of the air being vented who knows, I have no pics. The bov sits towards the top near the TB, but on the underside of the pipe, thanks for the help so far.
you want the bov releasing at 0 or 1psi. you have to adjust it until it releases at that point. one note - you must test it under load, meaning that just reving the engine and seeing where it goes off it is not going to give you a true reading of where it's set at. you have to drive it and see where it's blowing off at. you adjust it using the screw on the top. it's different for every car, so there isn't a set number of threads showing that you should have.
