hello..........my car is basically stock.........it hisses between shifts??...... i dont have bov.does this mean leaks>?
it also back fired on me this morning heavy throttle shift from first to second gear....is this normal?

hi Dusty..... well the few times ive got on it and looked......it appears to shoot up to 15 pounds.......then it drops to around 13 or 12 pounds?
at idle it reads 20vac.........cruising with foot off gas it reads like 28vac car has 1400 miles on it now... to be honest i havent givin it a good workout like im sure most of you would... i want to keep that full coverage at 114 per month
i must say im 34..... this is the 5th new dodge vehicle ive had......and the most powerfull vehicle ive ever had.... 2nd being a v-8 dodge ram sport
when it backfired on me this morning.....i was trying to get into traffic after geting gas...... i layed on it wheels a spinning rear end shifting lol..... so i didnt have time to look at the guage.......maybe i over revved it??..........either way although i was laughing it scared me too.....now i see why so many have wrecked these cars it was embarrasing too...[8D]

Mine "backfires" all the time. Sometimes louder than others, and if I ride out first gear then it REALLY pops at me. The vac at idle and while driving with your foot off the gas is 100% normal. So is your boost.
Not sure what the hiss was, maybe it was the "horse laugh" as described in the manual that you get when letting off the gas to shift with the stock surge valve on there.
