I had a so called extra puff in the exhaust and the car did not run strong and they found a weak fuel injector. The dealer found a lean reading in one of the cylinders. May not be your problem but just another thought for you. Good luck.

sounds like you're running directly off the wga. check your vacuum lines, sounds like one is either popped off or has a hole in it.

I just wanted to give a big THANK YOU to all of you who gave your advice and input on this problem. I did a leak test last night, found two leaks actually, and took care of them. Seems to be running much better now. I'm not sure if there is some kind of relearning that the ecm will need to do, but either way I can already see a huge improvement. Boost no longer drops down in higher gears so I think she's good to go. Put on a K&N Typhoon that came today and she's sounding sooo beautiful. Thanks to you all!

You very welcome. The computer will adjust after a few drive cycles. Smile BIG!

One was a hole in the rubber piping going into the i/c. The other was a small tear in the rubber housing over the end hard vacuum line. I'm not sure if the second one was causing a problem. It was something I SAW as opposed to heard, and replaced it anyway.
