ummm i dont know if its true or not but i read some where that the stock tires the srt-4 came with were stickys and were hard to do burn outs with because they would grave on to the road and wont let the tires slip....

 

I like em dude, I think I would've gone a size up on them though to fill up more of the wheel well housing. They're 17s right?

I think they look wicked sweet though! Ha ha "wicked" New England accentage! Yes yes I likes.

 

thanks for the replys....Yes LilSpark i agree with you 100%...i should have went with 18's......on top of that i got a lower profile tire than stock.......kinda messed up all around.
ill keep em for awhile then get some black ones with polished lip.....

 

they were a little softer... if you roast em' you will rarely see smoke [>:]

 

The stock BFG KDW2's are a great tire and sticky like glue around curves, but they are simply too narrow and over powered on the SRT-4. If you haven't already spun the tires at least once in your SRT-4 then you haven't driven it yet or it's broke. It breaks the tires loose for a past time even during normal driving, but far worse in wet weather and it's absolutely an accident waiting to happen death machine with any amount of snow on the roads. If you try to launch hard it will boil the tires and beat you to death with wheel hop if you don't do it just right.

 

the stock tires are a great tire....for about 5k. then they suck. they just don't last. well, at least not the way that we driev around here!!!!

 

I went with the black w/ polished lip, but 17's with the lower profile tire as well.....sigh.... I feel your pain! Stupid wheel gap!
