Alright so I guess I have a rival here in the good ol city of Los Angeles. Last week, sunday, marathon day here in LA. Mad traffic, some srt-4 zooms by me and released right on my window, I was like wtf, so I go after him, hes modded up, has an AEM cold air, mopar bov, custom 3 inch side exit exhaust, cm clutch, and other ****. We go at it for a bit and he never really catches up. Last night I go to our local racing spots, and guess who shows up, the motha effin grey srt-4 that was acting tough in the marathon traffic. So he challenges me to a race and I am like eff it, I just came to watch. I chill, on my way home on the freeway, guess who the F*** I bump into, the motha effin srt-4. Everyones bragging about him being modded up, his car is fast, yada yada, this that, bla bla, I am like eff it. Lets do it. My car is pretty much stock, haven't been able to add my exaust yet, so all I have is my AEM short ram intake and Greddy type S bov. Thats it. We go heads up on the freeway, I roll up next to him and his homeboy calls me a *****, I am like eff this lets go. First run, I end up 2 cars ahead of him, 2nd run 2 1/2 cars ahead of him, 3rd run, 2 cars ahead of him, 4th run was the best, it was on an elevated 2 lane carpool lane. No cars anyone, pretty much a 4 mile dragstrip... [8D] I roll down my window and tell him to go on 3 sounds of my horn or whatever you wanna call it. 1....2...3... I TAKE HIS *** OUT! We were at about a 55-60 mph roll so I downshift to third and thats about it for him, he never caught up or even kept up with me. That will teach him to talk **** about me. Ha, my SRT-4 owns! Rival my ***.......

 

I hate SRT owners who act like punk @sses... makes the rest of us look stupid...

Yeah man, he kept driving by where my friends and I were parked, reving, realeasing and **** all loud. Calling me out and what not. I just had to shut him up once and for all, I couldn't take his **** anymore... gotta say though... I felt hella good every time I saw his headlights in my rear view mirror.

 

i got to admit when i had my evo, srt4 drivers were the worst to deal with besides the honduh ricers and sti's. no offense, but its like each time i saw one i would try and give them a thumbs up but they just blow by me or rev their engine.

when i had my evo, i would get thumbs up or waves from fellow evo drivers. now in the dodge, i get glares or just ignored. no more waving at fellow enthusiasts i guess.

 

I kept it real man, I am a nice guy and I always have a smile on my face, if you beat me cool, if you get beat by me, even better... lol. I always wave, give a peace sign, or show props, no need to be a little bitch about anything. When evos and sti's pull up I show respect to the vehicle, and if the driver isn't a dick, I show respect as well. I just had to tear this srt-4 up cus he was just running his mouth a little too much.

me and wifey stopped at a couple of places where the kids hang out around here before we bought ours just to ask questions and only 1 out of 8 people were nice enough to talk with us and he also said check out the forum here so i did and them i pm psi chick and talk to her about it and after that i was like hell yeea time to get one and now i see alot of them around and they all have attitudes except "eng37ine" and all of you on the forum

 

Just one question Izzy. Your car is a 2005, it COMES with Stage 1 injectors from the factory, why is that listed as a mod?

Well put it this way, a Mopar BOV is virutally NO power
An exhaust without something to support it is minimal as well
The difference between a CAI/SRI is only a few horsepower
A Clutch does NOTHING for your horsepower/torque, it only holds higher amounts, but yet if he cant shift it, that could've been why you beat him

Unless his "other" mods consist of something that actually GIVES horsepower, I can easily see how you beat him from a 3rd gear roll.
