I have to ship some bulbs out to Amanda tomorrow afternoon, so if you want, PM me your address and I can send you the extra spline key I have. It looks like it would work.

 

I still need to get lock lugs, but the place I use to get them from (Meijers) no longer has any. I had bought them there years ago for my Shelby Z, Gorilla Lock Lugs, but they have discontinued stocking them for some reason, so I will most likely have to order them. I prefer the spline type, they look better than the type with the odd flower looking end for the socket to grip.

plan b - spline drives are not the same thing as tuner lugs. when you get rims, typically you need tuner lugs because they are thinner and need to fit inside the smaller opening of aftermarket rims. spline drives have a deeper seating area inside the lug itself. when you look into a spline drive, the area that is threaded goes the entire way to the front of the lug, where as in a tuner lug is stops about 1/2-3/4" from the front.

i need to order a set of these mself. these are the ones i was thinking about getting because they have a black finish availible. damn things are expensive though....

 

Ok, thanks... I thought it just referred to the socket shape? (not octogon, hexagon, whatever six sided is....sixagon). I would check mine out, but the car has been in the shop for 2 weeks now! Waiting on some brace for the steering assemebly that is coming out of Michigan.....
