MBC
Well...
This isnt really the way you would route lines for a "Boost Controller".
I mean, is this the best way?? Yes I think so. But you could add a MBC, EBC, or In cabin BC any way you want.
What this is doing first most is, its routing your vacuum lines the way a Turbo SHOULD be set up. The stock way, lets the ECU control your boost. So basically, if you hook up a MBC to your stock car, the ECU will eventually say "HEY! WTF! My boost is too high!!", so it will lower it automatically.
This way, that will not happen, because the ECU cannot control the boost now.
This is the way a turbo is set up on most cars as well.
But to answer your question, Yes, you can set up an EBC this way too.
What I should also say is if your running stage 3, you probably dont need to do this, since the ECU for stage 3 will have boost set very high already...
Boost for stage 0/1 is usually set at 15 or below, stage 2 slightly higher, then stage 3 even higher.

ok i set it up just like you said and there must be something wrong with my MBC beacause all i get is 4psi max of boost. if i close the MBC then it will boost out of control. why did my MBC come with a T fitting. is there some other way of setting up this type of MBC.
It depends.
I dont have toys, but if the dial a boost at FULL Boost is what a normal wastegate would put out, then Yes, you should be able to use a MBC.
But if the dial a boost (at highest setting), raises the boost LIKE a MBC, then i would say there is no need.
If your already boosting about 18-20 psi, then id say you are fine, if your not, then you can probably use a MBC. (Stage 2 though, not a regular stock SRT4)

dude, not for nothin, it KIND of looks like my turbosmart one, but I am really not sure of how quality that peice is gonna be when its 20 bucks new.
The turbo XS is about 80 bucks, and the Turbosmart is about 60.
I wouldnt use a peice like that in my car. I would go buy a brand name one.
Its probably defective, or just very very cheap.
I had an extra TurboXS one, but sold it to some kid with an 06 STI for 40 bucks.
