SRT-4 speed limiter...

Well the gearing will let it hit 183... but I'd bet you have to be pushing close to 500whp to see it... plus who knows what the aerodynamic stability is like at that speed...

Da da daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!! Captain Obvious has come to save us!!!

Just messin with you dude.
Damn, I didn't know the 4's could get that fast...183..damn

Suffice to say, that your right foot is usually the limiter. I cant get enough clear road to do that here in Mi. but if I was still living in Nevada I'd be able to report my cars actual. For me, it is about 148. that was during a race with a hopelessly losing v-65 magna motorcycle. He had me up to about 120, after that, all he could do was tuck in and draft. At about 145, he gave up. It sucked to be him.

Using simulation software and guessing on the future power output and the addition of an automtic transmission, my new top speed should be just over 190mph, and it should take just over 1/2 a mile and less than 15 seconds to reach that from a dead stop. [:-]I may have to test that theory, I wonder if there are any 1/2 mile drag strips...
OH SNAP!!!!! That is like Bugatti fast.

Dunno if I'll have that problem.
